User Agreement

This Agreement was created/last modified on 14th March 2023. By using our website and services, you accept the following terms and conditions. This User Agreement will apply every time you use the Website.

General

This Agreement and any linked information/policy may be amended from time to time by posting amended terms on the Website, with or without prior intimation to the users. You’re requested to keep a tab on our policies.

Policy Scope

Before using our services, it is recommended that you go through the Terms & Conditions in detail, read & accept the privacy policy, and all other rules & regulations.

Requirements

You’re eligible to be a user on Pennywise only if:

  • You are above the age of 18.
  • You have a valid email ID and contact number 
  • You have never been suspended from using the platform before.
  • You can operate under legally binding contracts.

Promotion

Pennywise proactively engages with its potential users through means of advertisement across different digital and conventional mediums. The company reserves rights to use user generated content, including (but not limited) Testimonials, Photographs & Videos for marketing and promotional purposes. In case you want us to not use something in a particular case, you are requested to explicitly mention that to us in a mail citing the reason & wait for us to agree in writing.

Advertisement

Without our written permission, users can not advertise an external website, product or service on Pennywise. Any website link posted on our communities must relate to a service relevant to pennywise. Failure to comply with the same may lead to account suspension and/or legal action.

Pennywise may display advertisements on the website as a mode of revenue generation. However, by using our website you acknowledge & agree that Pennywise can NOT be held responsible for any loss incurred by clicking on any such advertisements.

Security

Incase of any breach of privacy, security or attempt of unauthorised access to your account, please inform us immediately at hello@pennywiseapp.in

Pennywise will take every possible measure to mitigate the malicious attempt, and ensure appropriate action by the authorities.

To guarantee complete security at your end, it is vital that you do NOT share your passwords with anyone.

Your account is only yours and thus you are the only one responsible for the safety of your password. Pennywise will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access of your account resulting from your failure to secure your password.

Fees & Services

All fees are charged in INR unless stated otherwise.

Taxation

Users are liable and responsible for paying their taxes at their own end, and must comply with their obligations under income tax provisions in the respective jurisdiction.

Closing an Account

Users may close their Pennywise Account at any point of time.

However, any account closure is subject to:

  • resolving any legal, suspension or restriction related outstanding matters
  • clearing any outstanding fees or amounts owing on the Account.

Pennywise holds all rights to retain some of your personal information to satisfy regulatory requirements and our own external obligations.
